AB6IX (에이비식스) is a four-member South Korean boy group formed under Brand New Music. The group consists of members Jeon Woong, Kim Donghyun, Park Woojin, and Lee Daehwi. They debuted on May 22nd, 2019, with a mini-album ‘B: COMPLETE’. Originally debuted as a quintet, member Lim Youngmin left the group upon a DUI scandal in June 2020. The group’s name AB6IX stands for “ABSOLUTE SIX” and “ABOVE BRAND NEW SIX”, and it means a transcendent combination of four members and fans who will open a new horizon for Brand New Boys and Brand New Music. AB6IX is widely known as a self-producing group as the members actively participate in songwriting and choreographing their songs. They won several rookie/ newcomer awards from various award shows such as ‘Asia Artist Awards 2019’, ‘Seoul Music Awards 2019’, ‘Golden Disk Awards 2019’, and ‘Genie Music Awards 2019’.
