Synopsis

Love Alarm Season 1 portrays love triangle between 3 high school students: Kim Jo Jo, Lee Hye Young, and Hwang Sun Oh. Jo Jo used to be a cheerful girl before her parents’ death but now her life is struggling. Meanwhile, Lee Hye Young and Hwang Sun Oh are best friends who attend the same high school with Jo Jo. Moreover, both have crush on Jo Jo. Later, Jo Jo uses the mobile application called “Joalarm” which enables her to discover romantic feeling. This application alarm rings to notify the users if there is someone who has romantic feeling for them within 10 meters. However, this application is unable to reveal the details about their lover or crush. It seems that Jo Jo couldn’t figure it yet.

• Season 2 is released in March 2021
• Love Alarm Season 1 is directed by Lee Na Jeong who previously directed popular Korean dramas such as Fight for My Way, Oh My Venus, and so on
• This is the first original Netflix Korean series
• It was planned to be produced by Hidden Sequence but the premiere was postponed due to internal reason of production. Later Netflix confirmed that the production would be produced by Studio Dragon
