Minhyuk, Nayeon, and Jaehyun, who are called by the nickname ‘MC Minnahyun’, will be leaving their MC position at SBS ‘Inkigayo’.
The hosts MONSTA X’s Minhyuk, April’s Naeun, and NCT’s Jaehyun will greet viewers for the last time on February 28. The three MCs who had been MCs on ‘Inkigayo’ for 1 year and 4 months were well-received thanks to their smooth hosting skills on the show. ‘MC Minnahyun’ received overwhelming love from the audience because of the cheerful energy and strong chemistry between them.
PD Jung Ikseung, who is in charge of ‘Inkigayo’ said, “The three are the longest-serving MCs on ‘Inkigayo’ in the past 20 years. Minhyuk, Naeun, and Jaehyun became the longest MCs to host the program together without partial replacement. Apart from the ups and downs in carrying out their duties as MCs, from open live broadcasts to crowd-less broadcasts after the coronavirus pandemic, I am very grateful to the three of them for giving bright and positive energy to the viewers of ‘Inkigayo’ for 1 year and 4 months.”
He also added, “I am sure that viewers are also sad by the departure of ‘MC Minnahyun’ who has become the viewers’ favorite since their first debut. However, when the three of them became MCs, they managed to reach the highest point in their respective solo careers.”
Minhyuk, Naeun, and Jaehyun will greet viewers for the last time through the live broadcast of ‘Inkigayo’ on February 28th.
