Synopsis
Melancholia is a romantic Korean drama portraying a love story between math teacher and math genius student. Ji Yoon Soo teaches mathematics in a private high school. She is kind but hard worker. Besides, she is passionate about mathematics and keeps encouraging her students to find their own answers to solve every question. Meanwhile, Baek Seung Yoo is an introvert student who rarely talks to others. His academic score is under average. However, he hides surprising facts about his past. When he was young, he was a mathematics genius who achieved many mathematics competitions. Furthermore, he attended to MIT when he was only 10 years old.
