Jeon Yeobeen was born in Gangneung, Gangwon-do.
She is the youngest of two, she has an older brother (Jeon Yunyeong, born 1985).
Her mother raised her alone as her father passed away since she was a child.
She actually dreamt to be a doctor.
She promised her late grandmother to realize her dream to be a doctor, so she devoted herself to the entrance examination to achieve her dream.
After failing her entrance test, she started developing a dream to be an actor.
Eventually, she enrolled in the Broadcast Department, Dongduk Women’s University.
She diligently takes many art classes such as dance, music, literature, and building up experiences by joining movie, drama, and musical crews.
She made her film debut in the 2015 movie ‘The Treacherous’.
Since then, she took many supporting roles in many productions, the most notable one is
Hong Sorin role in the OCN drama ‘Save Me’.
She got a breakthrough in her career after starring in the critically acclaimed movie ‘After My Death’ released in 2017.
Through her appearance in ‘After My Death’, Jeon Yeobeen’s acting started to gain public’s attention, even winning the best new actress awards from Seoul Independent Film Festival 2017, 28th Buil Film Awards, Chunsa Film Art Awards, and 56th Grand Bell Awards 2020.
In 2019, she got her first drama major role in ‘Be Melodramatic’, portraying Lee Eunjung PD.
She gained mainstream popularity in 2021 after playing Hong Chayoung character in tvN hit drama ‘Vincenzo’.
Her older brother played a big role in encouraging Jeon Yeobeen to pursue an acting career, he even sent her to acting academy.
At first, Jeon Yeobeen’s mother was reluctant to support Yeobeen’s dream of being an actress, but her older brother worked hard to convince her.
