X1’s Son Dongpyo will debut as a member of the new boy group under DSP Media in March. According to an interview with the media on the 19th, Son Dongpyo is said to be making his debut in the music industry with a new 7-member group.
It is the first time in about four years that DSP has launched a rookie group since KARD. The agency has confirmed that the seven members including Dongpyo are diligently preparing their debut.
Son Dongpyo debuted as a member of X1 in August 2019, after finishing 6th in the survival program ‘ProduceX101’. After X1 disbanded, he returned to his agency DSP Media to prepare for a re-debut. After 1 year and 7 months, Dongpyo will finally return to the Korean music scene as a member of DSP Media’s new boy group.
