His family consists of mother, father, and a younger sister Lee Bo Ram (born 1988).
His father Lee Jong Ho is CEO of a furniture company in Namyangju called Dauning.

He made his official acting debut in 2008 through MBC sitcom ‘Here He Comes’.

Lee Kwang Soo is best known for his participation as a fixed cast member in SBS variety show ‘Running Man’.
After 11 years, Kwangsoo left ‘Running Man’ due to health reasons in April 2021.

Before venturing into acting, he was also active as a fashion model, but he said that he only stood on the runway once.
