EXO (엑소) is a 9-member boy group under SM Entertainment. It originally consisted of EXO-K a sub-group promoting mainly in South Korea with members Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, Sehun, and EXO-M a sub-group promoting mainly in China with members Kris, Xiumin, Luhan, Lay, Chen, and Tao. The group debuted on April 8, 2012, with their first single ‘MAMA’. The group gained huge public’s attention in 2013 after the release of their single ‘Growl’, the song remains one of the most iconic K-Pop songs to date. In 2014 and 2015 members Kris, Luhan, and Tao left EXO-M. Now EXO is promoting with 9 members Xiumin, Lay, Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, and Sehun. The group is one of the most successful boy groups in South Korea, selling more than 10 million albums.
