All SEVENTEEN Members Are Tested Negative for COVID-19

Earlier this morning, Pledis Entertainment announced through SEVENTEEN’s official Twitter account that all members are COVID-19 negatives. Previously, fans were concerned after all members were announced to underwent tests for COVID-19.

Previously, Woollim Entertainment announced on the 17th that Golden Child’s Bong Jaehyun is suffering from asymptomatic COVID-19 disease. As a result, NCT and SEVENTEEN members who went to the same salon as Jaehyun took the COVID-19 examination for precaution.

While NCT announced their test results yesterday morning prior to their appearance at KBS Music Festival 2020, SEVENTEEN had to cancel their appearance at the show because not all members received their test results. SEVENTEEN canceled their appearance at the last minute when some members already on stand-by at KBS building to shoot their performance. Pledis Entertainment explained that due to a large number of members, SEVENTEEN took their tests in different clinics. That made the test results came out at different times.

After members were confirmed negative for coronavirus, the group will resume their schedule as per normal. Here is Pledis Entertainment’s statement regarding the matters.

All SEVENTEEN members were preemptively tested for Corona 19 on the 17th, and all of the test results came out as ‘negative’. Therefore, all group activities will resume today.
