On December 30th, BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment announced via the news outlet NewsEn, “Rosé and Lisa are currently working on solo songs. They are currently preparing to shoot the music video as planned.”
The agency also added, “Since Jisoo will be shooting the drama ‘Snowdrop’, both (Rosé and Lisa) will release solo songs first.” Previously, YG Entertainment had announced, “After the release of BLACKPINK’s regular album, we plan to release solo songs for Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo in order”.
Rosé and Lisa made their debut as BLACKPINK members in 2016 after spending several as trainees under YG Entertainment. This will be their solo debut after 5 years of debuting with BLACKPINK.
